Michelle started the online store in 2006 and has continued to grow the business. Her love of stationery and dream of owning her own business, made the Paper Cottage a perfect fit. In her "prior life," Michelle worked for many years in public relations & corporate store operations. Beth joined as partner in The Paper Cottage in 2011, having spent years in the magazine business working for many fashion/style-focused brands including Mademoiselle, Glamour, Ladies' Home Journal and Fitness.

And so, here we are. In between carpools and play dates, we get to do what we love--sourcing and showcasing the adorable products we feature in our store.
